Meet Our Team

Sarah Christensen

Founder & Executive Director

Sarah is passionate about using past addictions, sexual exploitation, and abusive relationships to help women caught in the same find hope and healing. Being raised by a mother who was sexually abused, addicted, and exploited was a training ground for the difficult nature of her work.  She turned to Jesus at 19 and He changed her life and called her to do something with the freedom she found in Him. In 2006. Sarah saw the great need and urgency in the Green Bay area to reach out to people who were stuck in destructive patterns, had no hope, lacked resources, and had no way out. Recognizing that many hurting people were uncomfortable going to church, she was compelled to create a ministry that would meet the need for drug dealers, addicts, strippers, prostitutes, abuse survivors, homeless, and incarcerated individuals, who felt outcast and unwelcome to find hope. Her mission is to advocate for change and offer hope and freedom for those who are incarcerated, enslaved to a life of addiction, and exploited by human trafficking.

“When I started serving in this ministry, I wasn’t expecting that my life would be changed.  Seeing women heal from trauma and be set free by Jesus with the same power of the gospel that saved and transformed my life keeps me going.  I wouldn’t want to do anything different seeing miracles of life restored one life at a time. This is the most humbling and fulfilling work–Kingdom work– I’ve ever experienced.”  – Sarah C

“Being in the ministry taught me how to trust in God more and grew my faith. I have learned to trust in Him to carry the burdens of the women we are reaching, I love seeing His healing work in the lives that come to us broken. I get the opportunity to watch and witness the display of Him turning ashes into beauty.” – Chevy

“Frontline Harvest Ministry has been a crucial part of my walk with Jesus and growing into the woman I am today, I have had the honor of working alongside Sarah and Chevy to build a bridge for women who are broken, downtrodden, and destitute in the Green Bay Area for some years now. The Frontline Harvest Ministry team and volunteers have also been significant in the help, time, and love they give to women we serve.” – Shawnta W.
