Our History
The original vision of Sarah Christensen was to create a faith-based discipleship recovery program to allow others the opportunity to find freedom and hope.
Advocacy for the prevention and abolition of substance abuse, and human trafficking, can break the damaging cycle of exploitation, addiction, and incarceration.
Frontline Harvest Ministry and the original Harvest Home residential services were founded in 2006 and remain dedicated to fighting for those negatively impacted by substance use disorders, caught in the cycle of incarceration, trauma, human trafficking, and sexual exploitation.
Moving to the Christian Community Center in 2008 opened new doors for those who wanted to know about Jesus and learn the Bible through programs like church services, street outreach, community events, home study groups, children’s ministry, women’s Bible study, and prayer meetings. In 2016 the Hands and Feet Dance Team was born, and we began serving throughout the community.
Under Frontline Harvest Ministry, our residential Harvest Home was built in 2018 to meet the escalating need for a high-quality, trauma-informed residential recovery program that has a proven track record and is highly respected and trusted to increase the success rate of participants. New partnerships with churches and community groups allow us to expand our ministry throughout the Green Bay area.
Frontline Harvest Ministry including Harvest Home is a registered non-profit 501c3 faith-based organization. Our work is 100% funded by donors who desire to join our mission, partner with local agencies, and be a part of the solution to this crisis.
“Jesus said to her, ‘Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering.’” –Mark 5:34
